Computer Management Technologies, Inc. (CMT)
NCA Web Summary

Overview

This custom program will allow the access of credential information via a school Intranet website. Web-based selection screens and reports will be produced from the iSeries/AS400 information in real-time.

The Basics

A web-based report will be created for displaying NCA data. The report will allow the NCA information to be displayed in Elementary, Middle School, or High School format. Programs and files to maintain/upload student's MAP files will be created. These will reside on the iSeries/AS400 and will be accessible via standard CIMS menus. Verification reports will be produced as part of the upload process. Student information will be matched on student number, or name and birth date.

The report selection screen will be web-based and provide drop down windows where appropriate.

The report information will be retrieved, real-time, from the current student files residing on your iSeries/AS400 server. The view will sort by district, school and alphabetically by student name. If a course and section is selected, the students will appear alphabetically within the selected course. Students that are not accredited will be flagged and/or the students that are accredited, but have not met certain accreditation areas will also be flagged. The view may include the student number or the student's name and number. Students that have a tag of EDP will be recognized as having entered a complete EDP. Tags with a category of NCA will be counted for extracurricular activities.

A total of all students that have been accredited and that are listed will display at the bottom of the view. The percentage of accreditation will also display.

The report can be color coded to easily see which students have passed all areas, passed the cut point, failed - not in bottom 25%, failed - bottom 25% in student's building, failed - bottom 25% in selected buildings, failed - bottom 25% in student's building and selected buildings.
