Web Student Information Overview CMT’s Web Student Information software is designed to allow staff, such as teachers, to access student information directly from CIMS through a web browser. This solution will provide real-time access to data with there being no need for the uploading nor downloading of data between the two products. Teachers sign on using an i5/AS400 user id and password.
Once signed in, users can be set up to allow for access to multiple buildings. If they have access to multiple buildings, they are presented with the following screen. If not, the following is bypassed and the user is taken directly to a list of students in their building.
The user is then presented with the students for the building they are either assigned to or for which they selected. Users have the option of sorting the student list by the default of alphabetical, or Class and Name; Current School, Class, Name; Student ID; or Class and ID. There is also a find feature available. Users can scroll through the list of students or they can type a name (or part of the name) into the Search field and click find. Once located, the text is highlighted as seen below. To select a student, simply click on the select button to the left.
Once the student is selected, the basic demographic information, with contact and emergency information is displayed. This information is accessed directly from CIMS real-time. So as the office updates/edits the information it is immediately available to the users accessing the information via this software. Users move through the available records by clicking the buttons on the left.

The Transcript button accesses the student’s transcript record.
Following is the student’s graduation requirements.
As many districts have custom files in which test scores are kept, the Testing Scores button would need to be modified to pull your district’s data from the appropriate place. On the Student Discipline screen, the data found within the student suspension record is displayed. Users can hover over the codes with their mouse to see a description of the code.
After reviewing the desired records, the user can choose to select a different user, select a different school if available, or close the program.
